Did you know that 3 cubic yards of rocks weigh roughly 8,520lbs?

My kids' playground
I shoveled rocks into a wheelbarrow this weekend. Lots of rocks. Then I walked them from my children's former playground area in the rear of our property to the perimeter of our house. My little family helped too, but judging from how I woke up feeling yesterday morning the bulk of the shoveling action was performed by my lower Latissimus Dorsi.

Did you know that 3 cubic yards of rocks weigh roughly 8,520lbs? Neither did I until I just looked it up, but that explains why my neck sounds like a Buddy Rich solo.

I recommend letting this play while you read the rest of this post, imagining my neck cracking along with the beat, but take a break from reading at the 1:30 mark and watch the high hat skills. Insane.

The wife and I watched a show called Chef's Table, a Netflix original this weekend. YOU MUST WATCH THIS SHOW.

We started with Episode 3 which features a chef named Francis Mallmann. I can honestly say that watching this episode marks the first time in my life that I've been inspired while drooling. I'll be attempting some of what the show glimpsed and will report back with my results (Spoiler: I'm not Francis Mallmann).

The writings are slow this past few weeks, for which (as usual) I am sorry. I was on the clock in the office or traveling for no less than 26 days without stop, and once a weekend rolled around I had to get work done around the house.
