The sun came up today a little brighter
Glaring in his eyes, reaching for his lighter
He didn't see her car and so they both died
But the sun came up, while the strangers cried
The traffic stopped and they all stared
All telling each other, it's so sad, you take care
They dug two graves next to the cars
While the ladies fixed their hair
It’s just another day in good Samaritan land
Two people died today in good Samaritan land
And everybody cried
And everybody cried
The sun came up today a little brighter
She didn't see them turn to run
A face so blind, she heard no sound
Sunrise, sunrise, flames moved the clouds
A wall of light came strong, and so she stare
In disbelief, so bright, you take care
And so the car became her grave
While others ran from fiery rain
Just another day in good Samaritan land
Everybody died today in good Samaritan land
And the whole world cried
When everybody died
I wrote this a long time ago.
