Sorry, Kids

Dad's not had much time to write lately, what with all the busy grown up work stuff that's been
happening.

A SWAT team decided to use our parking lot as a staging area today, which was cool.

I went to Wal Mart and bought stuff. Nothing special mind you, just stuff.

Microsoft Surface tablets are great devices, but they fail in one arena: Progress bars. I have one sitting on my desk that has read "Please wait while we install a system update" for about three hours now. I know it's actually doing the work, because I did the same update to another similar model yesterday and it took several hours. Oh well, you can't win them all MS, but good job on the Surface, it's great.

Someone surprised me by leaving a huge container of wasabi peas on my desk. Win.

I watched The Lego Movie with the kids and wife last night. Killer.

I just looked up and saw the magnetic name tag of our Australian office's national director. I think I'll wear it somewhere and do something creatively mischievous, then when questions just say "The Nayme's Steyve!" And run away while clicking my heels mid jump every few steps.

It's Thursday, and that's great. I'm gonna grill stuff tonight, which is also great. You're great. Have a great afternoon.
